More Publicity for the Thrift Store Gods

So, a few weeks ago, I was cruising through the thrift store, when I saw this:

A shrinkwrapped copy of Avalon Hill’s Acquire. The thrift store wanted $3.88 for the game. Not my cup of tea, but thanks to a few years of heavy wheeling and dealing on ebay, I knew what it was really worth. I snatched it up.

After listing it on ebay, I made enough profit to cover the costs of this Acquisition:

With about .40 cents to spare.  They look really nice in Hardcover. :)

The Thrift Store Gods, Have Smiled Upon Me!

I never, never find D&D shit at the thrift store. I live in a fairly large, metropolitan area. Plenty of gamers. I find good books, quite often. But nary a D&D book in sight. Finally, the Thrift Store Gods smiled upon me.

2nd printing. Sound binding, very clean interior. Only a very slight bit of bend, to the boards. .99 cents.  Now, if someone would just throw out a copy of Warriors of Mars…
